New full-body red vintages with robust, earthy glazes served upDebut of new porcelain body slated for September Aged to perfection at 2,210º F. Marazzi’s new red-body glazed porcelain combines the benefits of porcelain – greater frost resistance, breaking strength and impact resistance – with the maintenance ease and dramatic surface movement of colorful glazed ceramic. The higher firing temperatures result in complete, complex products conveniently produced and stored in the Sunnyvale, TX warehouse. Initially, the new body will be introduced in the Aida and Solaris series. These series’ cartons will prominently feature the “Glazed Porcelain / Gres Porcelánico Esmaltado” designation, plus each piece of tile will have “Porcelain” debossed into the body of the tile as it is pressed. Simply checking the back of the tile assures you are getting true porcelain with a water absorption rate of ≤ 0.5%. |
